Meet Ean Barretto

Ean Barretto is the owner & operator of EB Marine LLC and a lifelong Rhode Island boater. From small to large outboards, every brand of trailer, and countless makes and models of boats, Ean brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the business.

Growing up in Portsmouth, RI and living on the water, he spent most of his childhood on his father's boat—always itching to drive as soon as he could. The tinkering started early: first bicycles, then lawn-mower engines and anything mechanical he could get his hands on.

Straight out of high school, Ean enrolled in New England Tech's Marine Technology program. While in school he worked at Port Edgewood Marina as a yard hand, jumping into engine work whenever the owner would let him.

After graduating, he landed a job at Wood Boat and Motor in Warwick and stayed there until the previous owners retired. Ean then took up the mantle and, in January 2023, launched what is now EB Marine.
